New to track?

Start Where You Are

No track experience required.

MRC Track is open to runners of every pace and level of experience. Your first session will be clearly explained, appropriately adapted and coached throughout.

  1. No Minimum Standard

There is no required pace, race time or level of experience. You do not need to become “fast enough” before joining.

  2. Everything Is Explained

New to track training? We will explain the session, track etiquette, pacing and recovery before the work begins.

  3. Placed With Purpose

Training groups consider your age, training experience, recent runs, race results and confidence—not pace alone.

  4. Different Paces. Shared Purpose.

You will not be expected to keep up with a faster group. Pace, distance, repetitions and recovery can be adjusted around your ability.

  5. Arrive Ready

Bring comfortable running kit, suitable trainers and water. Track access, equipment and coaching are already provided.
