MRC

Mako Running Club. This is our run.

Beginning Sunday, 1st March.

MRC is built on the belief that belonging comes from shared effort. It’s a space where elites and everyday runners train side by side, united by purpose rather than pace.

Sunday at Mako

Where we meet

We gather at Feast Away, Doncaster
(DN10 6TJ)
for a short check-in and route overview, so everyone starts on the same page.

Time & distance

Sundays at 09:30. Most runners cover 5–10km at conversational effort, with flexibility depending on where you are in your training.

Pace & standards

If you run, you're a runner and will fit right in! Come prepared, arrive on time, and bring good energy.
*Suitable for beginners.

If you’re unsure how this fits into your wider training, our coaching approach explains how we structure progression week to week.

Kit, coffee & atmosphere

Dress for the conditions. After the run, we return to Feast Away for discounted coffee and cake - a simple ritual that builds the community as much as the miles do.

The Routes

Each Sunday, we offer two route options, a shorter and a longer loop, allowing runners to settle into the distance that best matches their current training.
Both routes are simple, social, and easy to follow.

Short Route ~6km

Flat, continuous loop designed for conversational running.
Sync directly to your device via Strava.

Long Route ~10km

A longer loop for those building volume, following the same social approach.
Sync directly to your device via Strava.

Go beyond Sunday
